Flat earth after flood map12/27/2023 ![]() But I can say with certainty that the notion of a “globe” being flooded pried at my intellectual insecurities for decades, and with good reason, because if you’ve been following my series “The Biblical Flat Earth,” you’ll hopefully take note that the Bible states quite the opposite, as the Earth’s make-up is concerned. I don’t ever recall a time in my life when I seriously doubted the Bible’s claim that God drowned the earth and all of its inhabitants within through a worldwide deluge, save Noah and his family in the ark. If Creationists are accepting the globe model yet rejecting its foundational claims whenever select theological truths or observed passages don’t exactly wedge in as they should, where does such an approach ultimately know when to accept the data and when to reject it?ġ1 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.ġ2 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. NOW THAT I’M STANDING ON THE OTHER SIDE of the fence and gazing in, I find it so ironic, as a convert to the Hebrew cosmology of an enclosed stationary flat earth, to watch modern day Creationists desperately trying to stand with a heliocentric model that defies their very attempts at Biblical literacy.
